A Christmas Visit

At this time of year, since Santa Clause is quite busy, two of his helpers made a visit to Transitions Healthcare on Biglerville Road in Gettysburg.

Adams County Sheriff Jim Muller and K-9 Allegra (“Leggy”) arrived during Christmas week to hand out Christmas gifts to the patients of that facility.

The men and women of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office had chipped in to purchase the presents and the Sheriff filled in for Santa (replete with silver beard).

A consensus appears to indicate that Leggy did a great job substituting for Santa’s reindeer (minus the antlers) and was the hit of the visit.

Our Office is happy to provide a bit of Christmas cheer for our community whenever possible. And we appreciate the Staff and Management of Transitions Medical for allowing us to visit its patients.

We wish the broader community a warm and safe Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
