On July 20-23rd, Sheriff James Muller and members of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office hosted the 69th Annual Pennsylvania Sheriff’s Association Conference at the Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg. The annual conference is a chance for all of the Sheriffs in Pennsylvania to meet, work on policies and receive specialized training. Over 50 different counties were represented at the conference by either the Sheriff or their staff. Sheriff’s received specialized law enforcement training from supporting agencies like the US Marshals Service, Pennsylvania State Police, the FBI and more. Sheriff Muller of Adams County said “The Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg was a great venue and Association members really enjoyed the history and hospitality of Gettysburg. Despite the heat, the conference was a great success. We had over 30 vendors presenting their products and the Sheriff’s received some exceptional training” Next years Sheriff’s Conference is scheduled to be held in Berks County.
